ABAC event

Public relation students of Assumption University (ABAC) are joining forces to help out 6 non-profit organizations as part of their “Where Wealth Can Help” project.
With the project having been carried out for months, the students are set to have their final showcase by jointly organizing a special exhibition fair event called “A Journey of Fulfillment” this week from March 16 to March 18, 2012, at the Crystal Design Center (CDC).
The purpose of this event is to exhibit the overall performance of public relations campaigns for 6 non-profit organizations. Those are Ban Bangkae, Fatima Center, Foundation for Rehabilitation and Development of Children and Family (FORDEC), Paper Ranger, Rabbit in the Moon, and Yaowawit school.
Speaking at a press conference, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bu-nga Chaisuwan, said that her students have been working so hard to get to apply the theories that they have learned for almost 4 years into real practice by conducting a whole PR campaign.
“And we thought, why not do it for non-profit organizations to give something back to the world community at the same time,” she added.
The second day of the event, on March 17, will be a fair, where different booths will be showcased in different themes with a variety of activities that fit with the campaigns.
Visitors will have a chance to see the celebrity appearances of Singto Numchock, Alex Randell, Chef Mee, and more, live on stage for fun activities such as interviews, mini concerts and a cooking show.
